i am so jealous of my dogs every morning when i leave the house! they're all cozy and sweet.
I'm going to be a dog. Every day of a dog's life is the best day ever. it's like, "wow! today I got to go for a walk and smell stuff. then I peed on stuff and then I smelled it to make sure it was mine! then I chased my tail! then I ate dog food and my master rubbed my belly! Best day EVER!"
Don't cats have the best life? Mine does the same thing.
I have an awful couch too--it was free (my moms) that she got for free (why not?) from a friend like 10 years ago. And we're cheap (aka poor) and don't have the $$ for a new one... Our is pink. I know, you're jealous. Who doesn't want pink furniture?
My pug is the same way...the whole house is his bedroom.

I woke up to my cat (who looks *exactly* like yours) snoring this morning. So, yes, it's a very good life.
Too funny - We have very similar couches (clearly the cats don't like them because they are always trying to scratch them). I hear you - when I leave for work, my cats are generally snuggled up in a sunny spot for a nice long nap!
what a cutie! I've been meaning to get up, but I'm "catatonic" and can't disturb my sleeping kitty.
