Why do people hide behind the veil of “Anonymous” when posting rude and mean comments?Thanks to the joys of comment approval, none of these will see the light of day, but it just does not make sense.

If you have an opinion – stand by it. I have mine, you have yours. No biggie…. But, if you are going to say something rude about my husband or me, then take your comments elsewhere.

Early Voting

Last night, Mr. Accountant and I early voted…. It was the first time I ever had to stand in line to vote – and we were even doing early voting! I sure hope this is a sign of things to come next Tuesday. It makes me excited to think about all of these people doing their civic duty. As we were walking into the polling place, we were laughing about how our votes were going to cancel each other out… I have kept my blog free of political commentary, but can you guess which candidate the Mr. and the Mrs. each voted for?

ecoTools

I love nice makeup brushes... You know, the kind that are super soft and you can wash them without half of the bristles falling out. (Not that I wash mine on a regular basis, but when I do...)

I was given a 6-piece set of ecoTools make-up brushes that I am going to give away to one lucky person. Just leave me a comment saying what your favorite item of make-up is and I will draw a name.

I will go first.

I love mascara. Love, love, love it. And, I have tried almost all of them. From the expensive to the cheap and my current favorite is Cover Girl Lash Blast, when paired with a primer. For primer, I just use Jane Max Lash and ditch the other half of the tube. This stuff is just as good as the more expensive primer, plus Jane is made by Estee Lauder. (You can get it at Walgreens)

Mother's Frosted Circus Cookies are my all time favorite store bought cookie and it looks like they are about the be nonexistent.

Ribbon Wreath

First of all, let me say that our apartment was on the 3rd floor and we never had people "just walk by..." That being said, I have to admit that I still have our Easter wreath hanging on the front door. Gasp! I have had good intentions of changing it, but never found the right one to replace it with and since every apartment in our complex looked the same, people used our Easter egg wreath to find our place. I am super picky... I don't like silk flowers. I don't like super cheesy things. I don't like things with words / sayings on them. I do not want one that is only good for a month at a time. And I certainly will not spend a lot of money of the thing.

So when I came across this beautiful ribbon wreath, I knew my wreath problem was solved.

I am going to make this beautiful (and cheap) wreath for our new house. And as far as color combos go, I am going to do something that will work all winter long. Forget fall, I am going straight to winter. We have a dark red front door, so maybe shades of cream/white with some silver/gold mixed in? What color combo would you do OR would you stick with one color?

Moving means...

... living in a maze of boxes

... having to purchase a cooking utensil only to use the same one for dinner AND toss the salad. Want seconds?? Clean the utensil that was used to cook dinner.

... drinking out of the same 2 glasses for the entire week

... long days and even longer nights

... and finally, eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch in a mixing bowl, with a plastic spoon, with a box as a table



This weekend is the big move and I can hardly wait!

Baby M Nursery Design

I am completely crazy about decorating... I get an idea in my head and will not settle until it is exactly how I picture it. Below are the designs I have created for the nursery... We are getting the bedding custom done since I am so picky. Hopefully it will turn out like I see it in my mind.

It seems like the paparazzi are going to the extreme lately. First of all, let me say that this is a double edged sword…. If consumers would not purchase mags like Us Weekly or InTouch or OK!, then all of these people would be out of a job. I know that I love reading celebrity gossip, but when you see pictures like this it makes me sad.

I think Suri Cruise is one of the cutest babies out there, but that does not mean we need to know her every move. There are a lot of people at fault in her situation, but it still makes me sad to see pictures like this. Obviously, she is afraid of these people – she is constantly covering her ears and burying her head to avoid them.

So, from here on out I am not going to purchase anymore gossip mags. (We’ll see how long this lasts…..)

Chinese Gender Chart

I promise this blog is not going to turn into baby central.... There is still way more to my life / me that just this baby. Anyway, how many of you all have tried the Chinese Gender Charts to predict the sex of your baby? We are not going to find out the sex, but that does not mean I am not going to do every single method out there to predict the sex. It might be fun to keep track of all the methods with the results, and then compare to the real deal come March. I know there are a lot of methods, but this is the first one I have done. What other ones are there?

According to the chart on The Bump, I am growing a girl. Plus, my mom had a dream where she saw me holding a girl with a head full of dark brown hair. Therefore, girl it is.

I have just found a new sound to add to my workout playlist. And if she can get her hot bod back after 2 kids, then there will be hope for me. (I realize she probably has trainers and chef's and medical intervention, but she still looks FAB.)

Snickerdoodle Ice Cream

Blue Bell Ice Cream is some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted. It is made in a small town in Texas, therefore distribution is rather limited. Anyway, I heard an ad yesterday for a new flavor that is just released.... Snickerdoodle Ice Cream! According to the website, it is a flavorful cinnamon ice cream with chunks of snickerdoodle cookies and a praline cinnamon swirl. Yum! Snickerdoodles are my all time favorite cookie, so this is just heaven in my (pregnant) opinion.

Looks like this new flavor will be making its way into my freezer and stomach.
