I love mascara. Love, love, love it. And, I have tried almost all of them. From the expensive to the cheap and my current favorite is Cover Girl Lash Blast, when paired with a primer. For primer, I just use Jane Max Lash and ditch the other half of the tube. This stuff is just as good as the more expensive primer, plus Jane is made by Estee Lauder. (You can get it at Walgreens)

As far as my favorite makeup goes, I would have to say that I go crazy for eye shadows. Last week, I was almost out of mascara, so while I was at the store, I decided to buy some. There in the Covergirl display area were all of these wonderfully vibrant and funky colors: yellow, lime green, orange, etc. I had to buy them all. I came home with so much eye shadow that I wonder if I will ever even use a fourth of it!

I am so glad to hear your review on the new Cover Girl Mascara...I have so contemplated buying it, but for some reason, always seem to put it back.

As far as my favorite product...my Estee Lauder bronzer compact. If I don't feel like putting on makeup, I can lightly brush it on all over and it evens out my skin tone and gives me a little glow. I use it all year...but sparingly!
Ohh how exciting..this is a toughie..I have alot of makeup essentials..but I'm going to have to agree with you on mascara..I love MAC mascara!
I love love lip gloss. I don't like people who workout in full makeup but I do have to wear lip gloss - even at the gym! Right now I am rotating between three different pinky shades from Fresh.

I use CG Lash Blast too, but my favorite makeup item would have to be Origins Underwear for Lids in Beige Gaze.
My favorite makeup is probably eyeliner, and I love the cheap and the expensive. My favorite is Lancome, because they have a really dark brown that goes on smoothly and looks nearly black with my complexion. I just don't feel 'dressed' with out my eyes done! :-)
I absolutely LOVE the Bare Minerals brand of make up. Especially the powder foundation. When I first saw it on TV I thought oh great another make up product on the market, but then when you could buy it at Ulta I tried it and that was 4 years ago and I haven't changed my make up since! I used to change my make up every year because I would think I could do better, but not this time!

I've been obsessed with Benefit's Benetint for years. You can use it as blush or lip stain. It's super easy to apply, natural looking, and waterproof. It's pricey but a bottle lasts forever.

Eyeliner is my essential. I have been using the Sephora brand lately. It's ok and cheap ($4) I just get so overwhelmed in Sephora, there are a zillion things to distract me and hurt my wallet that I usually just make a b-line for the sephora eyeliner and get out of there. Otherwise I start trying on all sorts of crazy things and come out looking like a clown.
By far my favorite makeup item is bronzer. I am very pale so I like to sweep some below my cheekbones and on my forehead to make myself look more alive! My fave for the past few years has been Laguna by Nars. It's not too shimmery or dark!

I think my fav. makeup is mascara too. Even if I'm not wearing a lot of makeup, I have to wear mascara. I've tried all different kinds, but I always end up going back to my cheapy Mabelline kind.

I love a pretty colored lipgloss and mascara! Right now, I am using Weather Everything Mascara by Bare Escentuals and I love it. No clumping or running. And I am also using Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Polish (my fav shade is Candi) also by B.E. It's all good!

I tell everyone I know about Clear Makeup from Philosophy. It is the best! I have never been a huge foundation fan...it feels heavy on my face. Clear Makeup give you an airbrushed look without the weight of foundation.
I usually just brush some powder on my face after the Clear Makeup is set (that's where the awesome ecoTools brushes would come in!) and I am good to go. It is definitely my favorite makeup find!
I can't live without gloss. I can't get through the morning without it! My favorite is by mark. I have been using it for a couple of years now and loved it so much I decided to become a mark rep. That's dedication. :)
I love my eyeliner- It isn't like athe eyeliner that any of my friends use- in fact, I couldn't work an eye pencil even if you paid me! The eyeliner I use comes in a mirrored rectangular box and has a pressed powder and tiny brush inside. You wet the brush or the powder or both and paint it on. It looks perfect every time and it gives my eyes a classic pop. I can do understated for day or lay it on a little heavier for night. My must have item is concealer. I use Bobbi Brown's creamy concealer kit and it makes me look so much more awake and perky. I love it!

My favorite makeup is the new Laura Mercier illuminating tinted moisturizer that I just started wearing. It is light but has a touch of shimmer - love it!

That's a tough one because I have two favorite pieces of make up - mascara and lip gloss. But if I had to choose one it would be mascara. No matter how long I've been awake, I don't look fully awake until I apply my mascara. BTW, I love the Sepora special mentioned by "just me." Can't wait to start sampling new mascaras!
My make up neccesity is a tinted moisturizer. The best one is Estee Lauder Day Wear Plus. It adjusts to your skin tone, has SPF and I love how it smells. I just wear that, consealer and loose powder and it is the perfect ammount of coverage for most days.

I love Aveda's Lip Glaze in Mango Juice. I keep one in my: purse, desk, bathroom, and always have a full tube in reserve. It's the perfect peachy-pink color and makes me happy. :)

As I've gotten older, concealer is a lifesaver. I have to have some under my eyes every morning or I really think people would think I was still asleep!
