I need your best, most delicious, moist, melt in your mouth, secret family cake recipe. I am starting to test out recipes for Miss A's first birthday party and I need a killer cake recipe.

I love to bake, but there is just nothing better than a cake from Stein's. Do it. Miss A will thank you for it later in life. :)

OK, so, this isn't a birthday cake recipe, but, it's my favorite cake recipe ever. I cannot make it unless we're having people over because I will totally eat the entire thing by myself. In my humble opinion, it's the perfect bright spring-y cake. Here's the link:

Call me crazy but I got an organic boxed cake mix from whole foods and it was one of the BEST cakes I have ever tasted. I was eating the trimmings without fristing it was so good. I can try to figure out the brand if you need it.
