Heather Bailey fabric

I came across this fabric the other day and I am in love. These prints have me dreaming in color... specifically turquoise, green, yellow and pink.

I have decorating bipolar syndrome. I love houses that are all shades of white....crisp and clean lines...everything in various neutrals, simple prints and nothing too over the top. Basically, everything about the house in Something's Gotta Give.
And then there are other times where I want to be surrounded in color. Bright and fun. Full of pattern. Full of life. For this stage of my life, color wins. I think that a home should reflect your personality, and when you have a game room that is full of bright, plastic kids toys you don't want to worry about the white sofa. Or the cream curtains. I have to step out of my comfort zone and it takes some adjustment for me to get used to all of this color, but so far, so good.

Heather Baily fabrics are my favorites and that's saying something because I LOVE fabric! Do you ever shop at jcarolinecreative.com? It's a fabulous site with great fabrics at great prices.

That's so funny! I was randomly perusing a quilt fabric website (http://quilthome.com/) last night and bookmarked heather bailey! I have the problem where I'm attracted to seven thousand different colors at the same time... I like the way neutral spaces look, but I just can't bring myself to go buy a bunch of white stuff. So for now I just don't buy anything until I've figured out what I want, and we live with slipcovered hand-me-downs.
