LBD and Sequins

Is there anything better than a great little black dress? Maybe a great pair of black sequin shoes!

I have 2 weddings to attend this December so I am beginning to plan my attire for them. I plan on wearing the same thing since they are two completely different crowds. (Best friend from college AND my grandpa... yes, my grandpa)

I am going to mix Kate Spade with Target. Who cares is the dress cost 1/10th of what the shoes cost? And, since I am still getting rid of the baby lbs, I have no idea what fits me so I had to order a variety of dresses.

Here are the shoes:

And here are the dresses..

Add a pair of black tights and some glitzy earrings and ta-da!
Which one is your favorite?

LOVE the shoes and the second dress is my favorite - who cares if it costs less - looks great!

Both dresses are nice but I think I favor the first one.

LOVE the shoes! I vote for dress number 2. I love a v-neck.

Gorgeous shoes! I like the second dress better. The first is cute too but feels a bit less fun for a wedding.

I like the second one. Can't go wrong with an empire waist.

Love the shoes and I vote for the 2nd dress. I actually have a Target dress in my closet that is slightly too big. Thinking about taking it for alterations to wear to a party this winter. Have fun!

Loving the shoes! And I think I like the first dress best, paired with an awesome necklace. The second one seems almost too summery to me (I know that sounds strange given it is black vs. yellow/orange/pink/white but just my opinion).

Which friend is getting married? And my grandfather remarried at the age of 82!

Those shoes are to die for! What a great idea - buy a great, timeless pair of shoes and then save on the dress.

I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

I love the shoes. I like the second one. I think that the cut of the dres will hide many of sins.

I totally do that all the time. Target and Kate spade, Tory burch and marshalls, it's the best!
