I have had an Outlook alert set up the Miss Trish of Capri for Target shoe line for weeks now.... and the big day is almost here. This "designer" shoe line is much better than the recent (tacky) Siergerson Morrison line.

Where are you??
I am still alive! Since Baby M came into the world, we have been living our life in 3 or 4 hour increments. Never would I have imagined that I could function on such little sleep or that I could sit and stare and this little create for so long. And our evenings are now filled with fun things like watching The Happiest Baby on the Block DVD....that man is a miracle worker.

Ouch...
I am lucky that I did not go into labor this afternoon.
I was at the spa this afternoon for my wax appointment and for a brief moment I thought I might just have had the baby right then and there. With every rip of my skin/hair, I began to sweat more and more and all I could think was that she is only half done. Lucky for me, the aesthetician was very complimentary of my high pain tolerance and said that the hospital would very much appreciate what I was doing and other pregnant women cannot handle this pain. (If you can't handle a bikini wax, then how can you handle labor???)
Maybe the saying should change from "sweating like a whore in church" to "sweating like a 9 month pregnant lady getting a bikini wax."

Wanted: Crock Pot Recipes

I love Crock Pot cooking because it is so easy and because it is so... easy. Problem is that I only have a handful of recipes and I want more. With the baby coming, I have a feeling that cooking like this will become more and more appealing.
If you have and good crock pot recipes, please send them my way! mrspreppy at gmail dot com
(I have looked online for recipes, but I like it when people give you recipes.... chances are, someone would not pass along a crappy recipe)
And since I am asking for your recipes, it is only fair that I give you one of mine.
Slow-Cooker Barbecue Beef Sandwiches
5 tbs dark brown sugar (divided)
5 tbs dark brown sugar (divided)
3/4 tsp black pepper2
1 pound flank steaks
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup tomato paste
3 tbs Worcestershire sauce
3 tbs molasses
3 tbs cider vinegar
1 tbs chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
Combine 1 tbs brown sugar and pepper; rub over both sides of steaks. Combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, onion and the next 9 ingredients in an electric slow cooker. Add steaks, turn to coat. Cover with lid; cook on high heat setting for 1 hour. Reduce heat setting to low and cook for 7 additional hours. Remove steaks, reserving sauce in the cooker. Shred steaks with two forks. Return the shredded steak to the cooker; stir into the sauce. Spoon desired amount of steak mixture onto a bun or roll roll and top with onion and pickles, if desired.

Trashy, Tacky, and Trashy
Pregnancy Piercings.

Who in the world would want to purchase one of the awful things? I saw an ad for these in a magazine and just had to share.
My favorite is sweetness. Classy.
