I love Crock Pot cooking because it is so easy and because it is so... easy. Problem is that I only have a handful of recipes and I want more. With the baby coming, I have a feeling that cooking like this will become more and more appealing.
If you have and good crock pot recipes, please send them my way! mrspreppy at gmail dot com
(I have looked online for recipes, but I like it when people give you recipes.... chances are, someone would not pass along a crappy recipe)
And since I am asking for your recipes, it is only fair that I give you one of mine.
Slow-Cooker Barbecue Beef Sandwiches
5 tbs dark brown sugar (divided)
5 tbs dark brown sugar (divided)
3/4 tsp black pepper2
1 pound flank steaks
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup tomato paste
3 tbs Worcestershire sauce
3 tbs molasses
3 tbs cider vinegar
1 tbs chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
Combine 1 tbs brown sugar and pepper; rub over both sides of steaks. Combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, onion and the next 9 ingredients in an electric slow cooker. Add steaks, turn to coat. Cover with lid; cook on high heat setting for 1 hour. Reduce heat setting to low and cook for 7 additional hours. Remove steaks, reserving sauce in the cooker. Shred steaks with two forks. Return the shredded steak to the cooker; stir into the sauce. Spoon desired amount of steak mixture onto a bun or roll roll and top with onion and pickles, if desired.

This is going to sound crazy...but it's super delicious and EASY.
Roast
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 onion soup mix
1 can of regular soda/cola
Place roast in crockpot and add other ingredients. Cook for 8 hours.
It's so simple and so good.
That recipe sounds delicious! However, I don't have any good ones that I can think of. I don't use my crock pot that much.
I have a good chicken one on my recipes blog. You can get to it from my profile page. I love my crockpot! :)
Country Ribs
1 package country-style ribs
1 bottle Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce (or your favorite)
Place the ribs in your slow cooker and cover with sauce. Set slow cooker to high for 4-5 hours. Ribs are done if they are falling off the bone. You can eat them like they are or shred with a fork for sandwiches. Great w/cornbread.
I posted mine! I can't wait to see what you get. I'm ready for some new ones myself.

Ha! I was just going to give you my pulled pork recipe, which isn't even a recipe...but your beef recipe looks better and very similar.
Pulled Pork Sandwiches (good for a crowd):
Slice and onion and lay slices on the bottom of crockpot. Place a pork tenderloin, cut in half, on top of onions. Add 1/2 cup water. Turn on low and cook all day. An hour before ready to serve, remove pork to a bowl. Toss out onion and water. Shred pork with 2 forks or kitchen shears. Return pork to crockpot. Pour in a bottle of your favorite bbq sauce and stir. Turn to high and cook 1 hour or until hot.
I also have a crockpot spaghetti recipe on my blog - looking under the 'cooking' label.
Good luck! I love my crockpot!
That looks yummy! I usually only do pot roast in my crock pot. I will have to venture out & try something new. Thanks!
I'm still so scared to use a crock pot. (Is that nuts?) I can just imagine the thing shorting out when I'm at work and ... yikes!
I have found some great crock pot recipes on http://www.recipezaar.com
It has been my go to and it's great because people post their thoughts about the recipe or changes they made. Good luck I will check back to see if you got any good ones.
I am planning on using some of my pre-baby maternity leave to buy and practice on the crock pot, because it seems like the neatest idea for dinner. I like the recipes posted, and think my husband would definitely like your recipe!
I love this recipe for cowboy stew:

Mccormick also makes a good crock pot pulled pork seasoning packet that is really good with a lean pork roast. =)
Hey - I just posted a gumbo recipe that was pretty good. Also, I recently posted a blog that someone did last year - she did a crockpot recipe every day for the year...I haven't tried anything specifically yet, but there are a ton of great ideas...she is actually getting published. Check out the blog.
I need crock pot recipes too!! I have no idea what to cook in that thing, but, you're right, it's sooooo easy. So, I don't have this one written out, but, in the most recent issue of Real Simple magazine, they had a great crock pot recipe for spiced beef--we made it last weekend and it was very good. I'll track down the recipe for you.
I just emailed you two recipes. If you get lots of good ones you better share with us!!
Ooh, meant to add that Williams-Sonoma has a great crockpot cookbook. I've made their butternut squash soup recipe.

OMG, I love my crockpots... all 6 of them! And, I got a new one at Christmas!!!! I have the BEST recipe for wonderful, moist dressing. There is a lot of prep work, so it isn't an easy recipe, but it is so delicious. Once I started making it a few years ago at Thanksgiving, I haven't stopped.
Here is one of my favorites....Tortilla Soup from Southern Living

I make a recipe similar to the one you posted and it's probably my favorite crock pot dish. This is the link:
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Barbecued-Beef/Detail.aspx
My other favorite is a Chicken Taco Soup:
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Slow-Cooker-Chicken-Taco-Soup/Detail.aspx
It's super easy and very yummy. A friend of mine adds browned ground beef to it which is also great. I also like that it's very easy to make this entirely organic and avoid hidden MSG by making your own taco seasoning. It's cold and here so I'm making this today!
I love the site allrecipes.com. Also, have you ever gone to a place where you assemble several meals and freeze them? I just started doing it and it's fabulous! In VA we have a place called Let's Dish but I know Super Suppers is similar and they're in Texas.
I too love the crock pot!! This is super easy and my man's favorite!

I know you posted this a little while ago...but I have one that's too good not to share! I got it from one of my bridesmaid's moms!
6 (give or take) chicken breasts
2 large cans of whole canned tomatoes
1 large jar of salsa (your choice!)
1 packet of taco seasoning
That's it! Pour all ingredients (except chicken) into the crock pot, mix it with a spoon. Place the chicken on top. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
For a twist, you can add an 8 oz package of cream cheese 30 minutes before serving. YUM!
