And hopefully it was not his last day. His report card was less than glowing and our pup was pretty antisocial.
PLAY - Sat it out
FRIENDS - Watched from the sidelines
NAP - Too excited to rest
FOOD - Eager for a meal at home
POTTY - Took a little coaxing
ALL DAY - Missed you
Jake was very nervous. We put him with the small dogs and he seemed to do ok, but he didn't really play with anyone.
I think this report card might almost be a failing grade - possibly a D?
But, even though Jake does not know how to play well with other dogs, there is one person that he knows how to play with.
Seeing the two of them together makes it so much easier to deal with all of his other crazy dog behavior. I would so much rather have this toddler loving dog that is sometimes wacked out nutzo versus a dog that is not good with children.

That is a DARLING pic!! Do you have a local dog park? The more you put Jake around other dogs, the more used to it he will be. Don't give up!!
That picture is beyond cute. Jake looks like a proud doggy daddy hehe.
That picture is just too cute!! That's kind of how our dogs are--they don't really care for other dogs, but, they LOVE kid and people. Makes going out of town kind of a pain because we have to board them, but, I'd rather them be good with our friends kids and be a pain in daycare than the other way around!
Don't fret... The Boom never did well at Doggie Daycare either. We'd leave her at their kennels when we went out of town and she was always VERY antisocial and nervous during the first day of play time... she'd warm up more as the days went on. Ironically, she always did better with the big dogs - I think creatures on her level freak her out!

awww! now i feel sorry for jake! i'll come give him a good report card. he and A are SOO sweet together. i just love that picture.
Oh my word. That report card is just sad. He wanted his momma! But that picture is to die. Sooo cute! Our bloodhound is like that with Emma!
