Good News - Swimsuit season is here!
Bad News - Swimsuit season is here.
I have no idea what kind of suit to get for this post baby body. Definitely NOT what I wore last year...
I was thinking more along the lines of this...
Has anyone had Land's End suits? How do they fit? They are on sale right now, but the sale ends at midnight so I have so make a quick decision.
I am going to get this one for Miss A. I love that it has snaps - should make for easier diaper changes this summer at the beach.

I don't think I've ever commented before, but I do love reading your blog! I couldn't let this post pass me by- I almost exclusively purchase Lands' End swimsuits. (In fact I just ordered a new one on Friday!) I have never had a problem with one and they last for years! Usually I replace them because I want to, not because I need to.

I just posted about this same topic! I ordered 2 suits from Lands End during this sale and I like the tops (tankini - pics are on my blog), but am struggling with the bottoms. The leg opening #2 is a very low (grandma) cut that hits me at exactly the wrong place. Good luck! I am trying to find other bottoms that I can wear with the tops so it's not a total failure! Good luck & let me know what you find.
Oh that baby suit is simply precious! I haven't even thought about swimsuit shopping yet but I guess it is that time... I like the black suit but don't know anything about Land's End apparel. GL!

That baby swimsuit is adorable!
I'm a fan of the high waisted pin-up styles this summer. They look like they'd be great for hiding baby tummy. Anthropologie.com has some cute ones.
Land's End suits are the best. They hold it all in, don't ride up, come with the all-important support (ahem), and last forever. The tops and bottoms also mix and match really well. I seriously wore my first one for 8 years before I finally tossed it.
On another note, I just found Lily Pulitzer at Marshall's. Just in case anyone out there wants to know. :)

I just found your blog and thought I might put in my two cents about lands end swim... I actually bought this suit last year after I had my son, and I was REALLY happy with it. The bottoms were a little "mom-ish" but I LOVED the top.
I don't know what you decided, but I've had Lands' End suits before and I like them - good quality. They run a tiny bit big, IMO. I like the suit you posted - I like their tankinis because they cover the tummy...what many of us need right after having a baby. :-)

I'm with ya girl. I went with a brown one-piece from Target. At least we can hope people are looking at our babies and not us!

I found a great suit by La Blanca thanks to a post by The Blissful Belle, they make great stuff and getting it on Ebay saves you a ton!
Oh man. I can't even face it and I'll be facing it SOON! I got some suits I'll be posting about with built in panels to slim and tuck!!!
