Hey good lookin... What ya' got cookin??

It seems like I have been cooking up a storm lately. Dinners...baby food... desserts. You name it.

A couple of weekends ago, we had a pizza par-tay with some of our friends, Lauren & Ethan. Lauren and I made the pizzas while the men folk played with the baby.

Here is Lauren with her masterpiece: homemade crust, red sauce, pepperoni, yellow bell peppers, mushrooms and cheese.

I added some basil in the crust of my pizza and topped it with alfredo sauce, homemade pesto, grilled chicken, mushrooms, and cheese.

Last night for dinner I made Martha Stewart's turkey burgers. Yum.

What have you been cooking lately?

That homemade pizza looks delish (and your friend is darling!). Last night we had skillet lasagna from the food network website. I loved the added zucchini strips (though I did add ground turkey). We were out of town last weekend and are out of town again next weekend, and I ABHOR grocery shopping for only four weeknight meals. I much prefer to buy for weekend dinners because I know they can be much more involved and robust. It's just so much more fun that way.

Tonight- sloppy joes and carrots. Living it up here in Chi-town!!! Both of us were craving it though, so we gave in!

Hope A is doing well!!! Such a doll face!

All of that looks delicious. I am not sure why, but I am so scared to try turkey burgers!! I know a lot of people that love turkey burgers and turkey chili, but I just can't get the courage up to "branch out." Sunday night, I cooked chicken n dumplings, and they were delicious! Tonight, I cooked grilled shrimp, grilled tilapia, grilled asparagus, and grilled corn on the cob! It was yummy as well.

Fun, fun, fun; we love to make homemade pizzas. Is Lauren willing to share her crust recipe? I've yet to find one that turns out amazing just good.

That all looks really good! I made a chicken in the crockpot and squash casserole last week... chicken was okay but the squash was so good.

You're amazing!!! I have been so drained that my family is lucky if they get leftovers. Um, last week, we ate out 3 times! And we NEVER eat out. Yikes. I'm wildly impressed. I have no reason to be such a slacker!

It's finally cooling down so I've been using the crock pot a lot lately. Last night was beef stew. Sometimes I throw a couple of chicken breasts in there and dump a jar of salsa on top and turn it on low. Easiest dinner ever!
