What color tights do you wear with a navy dress??
I have a wedding this weekend and NONE of those lovely LBD's below worked out. Too small. Too big. Too much bubbie. You get the picture. So, I am left to dive into my closet.
This dress fits (whew!) and is wedding appropriate. The only problem is that I have pasty, ghostly white legs and I need to cover them up with tights. But what color? I have lots of shoes, so that should not be a problem. Hopefully.
Oh yeah, the wedding is this weekend. Help!

i would think grey would go nicely with navy, but it depends on how thick of a tight you were thinking! mmm
What about nude fishnets? I know it sounds crazy, but there is a pair of Vera Wang for Kohls pair for like $6-7 that look amazing with EVERYTHING and help take the spotlight away from pasty white legs!
I think a chocolate brown would work nicely, especially with good heels.
What color shoes?
Always a danting task to decide what to wear to a wedding. I would go with navy myself. Darker is always slimming on the legs. Have fun!
Black tights and/or shoes are perfectly acceptable to wear with a navy dress. Grey also goes well, but I'm not sure it would be the best pairing for that dress in particular.
Cute dress! It's hard to tell what colors are in the pattern of the dress, but what about a plum colored tight? I think it would be a fun contrast and keep it looking young. A navy tight would be good too, with a bright colored or metallic tone shoe for some contrast.
Last tip I heard was to always match tights to your shoes...so I guess decide on your shoes and go from there! Hope the wedding is fun!
Cute dress! I would go with a sheer navy or sheer ivory stocking or start a little self tanner on those legs & go bare! Have fun!
I'd say navy.
I would probably go with a nude tight, or some sheer nylons. That's not really a tights kind of dress. Nylons is probably the way to go.
I'm thinking gray, flat weave. all navy would be kind of seventies. or you could always use sun-tan pantyhose :)

What about a light grey or a brighter blue?
I would stick with navy tights - IF you can find them. I would then add a fun pair of orange, gold, or any other bright colored heel. I think navy will elongate you and the pop of color on your feet will be festive and wedding appropriate! Have a great time!

Hmmm. I wore a solid navy dress last weekend and paired it with grey tights, which I thought looked nice. Since the dress isn't solid navy, do you think navy tights would work? I'm sorry I'm not much help- it took me days to figure out I could wear grey. ;-)
I wear brown with my navy dress, and I have navy tights. I suppose you could wear gray as well!
I would say navy tights and shoes. This year there are so many cute colors to choose from, it's hard to decide. Hope you have fun!
