This may seem like a silly question, but I am going to ask anyway...
Do you wear socks with loafers? I have a couple of pairs that I like, but I am always conflicted on what I should wear on my feet. If you go barefoot, the shoes start to stink, plus that looks funny in the winter. And if you wear socks, well that just looks weird.
Right now, I am wearing these J Crew driving mocs, but since it is about 80 in Dallas, that is fine.

I live in Minnesota, and even though it gets super cold here, I hate wearing bulky socks. If anything, I'll wear cute knee socks, or those little bootie socks that are super thin nylon socks (also sometimes called footie socks). I wear a lot of dresses and skirts too, so I'm kind of a tights girl.
I don't wear socks.... in the winter, I'm usually a boots kinda gal (and, I wear socks with those), so, I'm sorry, I'm not much help!! I sent your package--it should be there soong. I'm so sorry it took me 500 years!!
I do wear socks with loafers because I hate sweaty feet!
My feet don't really swear, so I wear them without socks. i just don't think it looks normal if you have socks on with these types of shoes. Hope that helps!

Maybe some thin trouser socks when it gets really cold.
I wear socks when I'm going to work (because I may have to change from loafers/boat shoes to work boots) but not often when outside of work - unless it is really cold out! A good option would be thin trouser socks or knee-highs if you want to wear something.
I'll admit it - I have sweaty feet. Gross. So yes, I wear socks. Most of mine are the thin trouser socks so it won't look so bulky. I also found some really thin cotton socks at JCPenney that I like. I'm glad that you're bringing this topic up. I've often wondered what other people do with their loafers.
i rarely wear socks with shoes like that. even when it gets really cold. i just think it looks weird. sometimes, i wear knee highs if it is really really cold. but, then again, i go bare legged pretty much all winter because i HATE pantyhose, so i am biased.
Much like the other Kathleen above, I lived in MN and am back in WI and I hate wearing bulky socks. I usually wear the footie socks until it snows, then I wear argle or striped dress socks.

Have you tried wearing the little 'booties' - they just fit over your foot and if it looks like your barefoot in the shoes. Try Talbots, Nordstoms, and Neiman's.

no socks for me. in the winter if it's super cold I'll wear (nerd-alert) knee-highs just for a little something. but no bulky socks, I dont like that look. prefer to go bare feet. but I also use foot powder/spray so my feet don't stink (plus I like the cooling sensation. wow, too long of a comment about feet!) BTW LOVE those mocs, been wanting them for a while but I always wimp out on ordering them .
I am an anti-sock kinda girl when it comes to my dankso, loafers, etc. I really dislike socks in general.
