We did it!

We did it! We signed all the paperwork last night for our very own.....
Half bath - I am not a wallpaper person, but this looks great in the small space, especially when combined with the ornate mirror.

Kitchen - I love the stone back splash and the granite counters.... the double ovens are going to be great this holiday season!

Formal dining room - I am not crazy about the red. What color is your formal dining room?

Moving day is not until mid-October, so once everything is unpacked and in place there will be many more pictures.

It's beautiful...congratulations!

If I had my own house and didn't have to move every year, I would love to tell you what color my formal dining room is. I'll settle for being thankful my dining room furniture actually fits in this house.

I can't wait to see pictures of your nursery; it sounds like it's going to be gorgeous!

Congratulations! My dining room was once red for about 8 years and we liked it a lot but when we did a redecoration a couple of years ago I switched to a more softened lowcountry color palate. I'd try the red for awhile to see if you like it...

Congrats! How exciting! The house looks awesome!

Our formal dining room is white. I'd love to paint it a neutral brownish color, but that won't be happening for quote some time considering that the living room still needs to be done and we've been here almost a year!

Congratulations! That is so exciting! Our formal dining room was a tan color when we moved in and I haven't had time to repaint it yet - I think I want a silvery color though.

Moving is so exciting!

Would you mind explaining the difference b/w southern and new england preppy clothing for women? The stores seem to overlap, but I feel there is still a difference in dress.

Congratulations!
My last dining room was red for about one year. I became tired of the red quickly and switched to a tannish brown which I liked much better. The new house is a work in progress so the walls here are a creamy off-white.

Congratulations!!!! Have you considered wallpaper in the dining room? I love that print in your half bath. Maybe something similar with brown or gray tones could go in your dining room. It would look very formal.

Love the wallpaper in the bathroom--I'm not a wallpaper person either--our house was wallpaper hell and we spent weeks scraping it, but, our wallpaper was awful--that is actually very pretty!

And, our formal dining room is dark blue :)

Congrats!
PS. That kitchen is to die for!
